City life can be overwhelming. The pace, the noise, the rush ā even in a "garden city" like Singapore, itās easy to lose our sense of presence.
But what if we didnāt need to escape to the mountains to reconnect with stillness?
Join us for Urban Zen: Finding Stillness in the City, a one-of-a-kind experience where we explore how miniature action ā small, intentional moments of awareness ā can bring peace and clarity to our everyday lives.
This event begins with a short talk on the ancient ideal of retreating into nature and how that has been reimagined in city life through gardens, rituals, and micro-moments of calm. Then, weāll step outside together to search for our own signs of āurban zenā: a stray wildflower growing through concrete, the ripple of light on glass, a silent bench in the middle of it all.
After a short guided walk, weāll reconvene over light refreshments to share what weāve found ā not just with each other, but with a wider audience. Each participant will have the option to feature their reflections (photos, video, sketches, or writing) in a curated post on TL Global Insightsā channels, creating a shared record of urban stillness, one moment at a time.
Whether you're an artist, a meditator, a nature lover, or someone simply craving a pause ā this event is for you.
Come find your moment of stillness in the city.
š Register now ā early bird pricing ($38) is available until 21 June
